what is dealer invoice on an 08 klr?

Post by Skypilot » Thu Jun 05, 2008 8:46 pm

I am going in to pick up my KLR in a few days. a local dealer is getting their first Kawasaki shipments in this week and the KLRs are do in soon. When I am negotiating a price I would like to know what dealer invoice is. On a car you can just go to autobytel or one of those sites. Where can I find that for Bikes? By the way, I'm new to the list. Sold my 1200gs a week ago and will pick up a new KLR. I am having some neck surgery and wont ride much this year. Long distance is out for quite some time. The Long Distance stuff was what the GS was purchased for so now there is no reason to leave $16k sitting in the garage. Always wanted a KLR and now I'm gettting one. I will be quietly lurking for a while to get a feel for the list but really would like to save some money when I go pick up the new bike [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

[dsn_klr650] welding on side stand

Look here http://www.sinknobob.net/%c2%a0 It works great and being made of rubber does not add any sharp metal edges. ----- Original Message ---- From: Spike55 To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thursday, June 5, 2008 5:19:07 PM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Re: Welding on Side Stand I saw and fixed fried wiring on bass boats that were welded on because the welder (person) attached the ground to the tansom and then walked around welding things. As he moved towards the bow, circuits were made back through the wiring to the ground clamp and the current "smoked" all of the wiring along that path, and only that path. If you keep the ground clamp on the side stand shaft and lay the "BigFoot" in the floor around the OEM foot and weld, you should be OK (personal experience). You'll have to spray paint the side stand shaft & foot anyway so make your ground connect as close as possible to the foot. Don R100, A6F --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogro ups.com, "eddiebmauri" wrote:
