ask recommendations - acerbis front fender for '06 klr

Post by notanymoore » Tue Jun 03, 2008 1:37 pm

I have a red '06 KLR and am now ready to get the Acerbis front fender. I'm getting a little tired of the highway speed instability. I notice some sites list Acerbis fenders for Kawasaki models up thru KLX400. The Motorcycle Superstore only lists color and size by price - $17.99 - $26.99. Anyone got expereince on size/model selection for this type fender? Any recommendations on size or model type? Any gotchas? My riding is mainly ashalt so super dirt protection is not the most important thing. Thanks, Bob

Eric, Did you forget? I think you left out a step.... Aren't you suppose to utter those famous words, "Hey, watch this?" before attempting this maneuver? I know those words always make me a better rider--even if I am just thinking them to myself. revmaaatin. just asking.

i installed a acerbis evo from monstrano $35 looks great works like a champ, easy to install, good rain protection. considering all the farkling i've done this one made the most difference especially at 80mph with 15mph crosswind. hardly even notice the wind anymore. Darren
