My Gripsters spooned on pretty easily (well, to be fair, the tire I'm comparing them to is the Conti TKC-80, not exactly an easy tire to spoon on itself), but I had to take'em up to 70PSI before they'd pop onto the bead, and that was with a well-lube'ed bead. I don't feel any compunctions about taking them up to 70PSI to get'em to seat. When you hit a big pothole the pressure of the tire gets up around that area momentarily anyhow, they're designed to take it. -E> bear to mount. ( quite an image, that statement. )
