Calling it oil is clearly not a good idea when:
-You have to buy a new bottle clearly marked "Brake Fluid" (not "oil")every time
you use the stuff-Using actual oil will completely destroy the braking system
-A newbie reading it might conclude that using actual oil is okaybecause someone else did it
-Said newbie can have no brakes or a rear wheel lockup due to usingactual oil in the brake system
I doubt that it matters, but I would have replied "Quit using oil" toevery one of your posts about this if I hadn't figured out what youwere talking about.

outer brake paddy
Friends,
Oil is a good thing, keep well oiled, but don t get
slippery on me. Except cod liver oil, bad memories
from early childhood.
I found the rear brake still got pretty warm. It
seems to me that the outer brake pad, the one nearest
to the wheel, is not sliding as it should.
I installed the new cheapo brake pads, which by the
way are the only ones available here, -with luck,
occasionally- and I found that I had to file down the
square holes to fit the round slide pins. It looks to
me that they still need a bit more filing.
Dem pins dem, dem round, mon. Ask Harry Belafonte.
Mike, the outer brake pads should slide freely on the
round slide pins? Early tomorrow I ll get out my
beginners burglary kit with the round file, and make
it slide easily, except of cause if I get a
prohibition on this channel. From authorized persons.
The relationship with a bike is just like marriage, it
has its moments of bliss and exhileration, and many
frustrations and angry moments. but you can fix or
