Of course not. As the rider is being wheeled to the emergency room ask, the car driver what what happened: "Uh, I turned left in front of him and HE FAILED TO MAINTAIN CONTROL. Yeah, that's it." Or: "Uh, I turned left in front of him, and HE WAS SPEEDING. Yeah, that's it."
