I heard this reported on a local break from the NPR news this morning, presumably about the last full year of records, that there were 2600 accidents reported involving motorcycles, of which 2250 involved injuries. The most frequent causes listed were: 1) Failure to maintain control, 2) Following too closely, 3) Speeding. Gee, I guess none involved automobiles at blame.
