lost and found
Yes and Amen on that. Motorcycle repair is a JOB,
that involves training and experience, just as my job,
or your job. No one can dream of doing my job
without extensive training. It is not as easy as it
looks.
Now, even living in a dirt poor country, where people
live on 500 bucks a month, I found it impossible to
find a good mechanic, and I am willing to pay, feed
them, the works, I think I draw the line at oral sex,
but who knows....
I could find guys willing to make things worse and
screw up my bike, but I can do that myself.
So it is a learning curve, but my God, if you are not
able to lubricate levers and speedo s, and fill the
battery, buy a horse! Today is my birthday, I got a
wonderful message from KLR whatever at 0500 this
morning, does Fred wake up this early, or is it an
automatic message? Anyhow, I jumped on my KLR, and
went into the boonies to get a real good swim in the
clear cool pool by the waterfall, and coming home my
wife had a cake ready, all at nine in the morning.
I don t like Bourbon too much, but I tough it out, and
had two double, and now I am on my lunch.
I enjoy doing things cars cannot, and in generally
behaving like a pirate on the road, but I hope wisdom
will come with age eventually, today I am only 63, so
bear with me please. Jacostarica.
