Looking for the proper length to cut fork spring spacers for front progressive spring install. thanks in advance

Cut them so that you have about 3" of sag in the front with you on the bike in riding position, wearing your gear. 2 3/4 inches is a good starting point, you can always cut them shorter. -- "Tragedy is when I cut my finger. dead speedo

Roger, After watching the cable come off on a bud's KLR I suggested he use blue Loctite on BOTH ends of the speedo cable and did it to mine. So far I've got 45,000 kms and the cable has NOT backed off on MY KLR!!! Ed -
