Thanks Don. The footpeg mod to me seemed obvious and I knew that someone, somewhere would have done it. The KLR Stuff site may well be stuffed. No links worked for me. The aluminium component looked great but a serious drop may see a failure. The steel mod is the way to go. I might get the MIG out and start to play.
Common sense keeps telling me that I should have bought a KTM adventure because I dont stop thinkin or fiddlin with the KLR. But maybe that why I am so attached to it. Any psychologists out there that can explain this phenomenon.
