Have a look at
www.trailtail.com. And don't get your hopes up about
"companions for the trip", it is a trailer site.

Thats funny. I looked at the TrailTail...but you need a hollow axle similar to dirt bikes. I think the fellow that owns it will make some type of adaptor for the KLR. Does the new KLR have a hollow axle?
I thought it wasa bit expensive but I love the concept. Not sure if it's legal without lights but I'm thinking that wouldn't be too hard to fix. I looked long and hard at it and decided my Ortlieb saddlebags and Rack Packs would suffice, and they have. If you were going on an extended camp out it would be nice to have the extra space and it is down low so would be stable to pull.

Apparently they sell a hollow axle to attach the "Trailtail".

universal motorcycle intercom discussion?

Bob Monahan called us KLR Geeks then:
"I'm a bit frustrated. I ride with several different friends that have Dual
Sport bikes and none of them have an intercom system so we can talk bike to
bike without raising our shields and yelling or stopping and removing our
helmets to carry on a conversation..."
Are your riding friends frustrated too? Or just you?
I suppose intercoms could be useful at times, but...ick.
