Jacob,
I always enjoy your post; but I think I have finally figured out what
your are 'doing' with a KLR. Mel Gibson has hired you to write the
screen play for his next MAD-MAX movie, filmed in Costa Rica, using
KLR's.
Right?!?!?!?
I thought so.
I hope you are well paid/compensated for your efforts.
Fishing line and a spring? really now; only in the movies. cough.
I would suggest you make that scene where you are passing two 18-
wheelers a one lane road when it makes it for the final shoot.
Anybody could escape danger on a 2-lane road. Just trying to help
and make your script more credible. shrug.
Oh, and does your bike have the forward firing, fully automatic, 12-
gauge Browning shotguns. Mel Gibson loves scenes with shotguns. And
explosives. But you got to have Danny Glover as a 'extra' if you are
going to start blowing things up.
sigh. I envy all your research, swimming in pristine water and
kibitzing with the horses. More snow overnight, and more in the
forecast--pushing the KLR riding back at least another week in these
parts.
revmaaatin.
