nklr for sale firstgear ht overpants size 34 tall

Post by Jeff Saline » Fri Mar 21, 2008 10:20 am

Listers, The add below just hit the BMW Marketplace. I use a pair of these pants for my colder weather riding. If these will fit you and you ride in temps below 50 degrees F this is a pretty good deal. Without the liners I've used them up to the 80s but prefer the air pants for temps above 70 degrees. I've found First Gear over pants are sized based on your regular pants size. So if you wear a 34 pants these should fit over your pants just fine. Notice these are for a tall. I'm 5' 9" and wear a 34 regular. Contact Jerry Jennings at LTestermanSR@... about this deal. I don't know more than what's in the add. nklr battery question

Post by a14@att.net » Fri Mar 21, 2008 12:10 pm

The Odyssey battery is great but is not for everyone. If you draw excessive power for heated clothes or lighting and find you need to use a battery tender because the charging system cannot keep up then it could be for you. When I camp I use the battery to power radios drawing it down yet it still had reserve to start. I also over two winters used heated clothing in short winter commuting where there was a lot of starting and waiting at traffic lights with low mileage so this drew down the battery many many times. A regular battery would not tolerate this type of abuse very long. Also the Odyssey will warn you when it is getting near time to be replaced by gradually cranking the engine a bit slower than it used to instead of sudden failure so you wont get stranded. I replaced my first after three years when it started to show signs of slower cranking after plenty of abuse. It is still good as a deep cycle battery for emergency power at home. The new battery is in its second year and going strong. I had to let the bike sit over two months and it cranked like it ran the day before. The first one I bought was from Ebay and may have been a second but I did mention it was abused. The second one I bought from an authorized dealer and it was very fresh shipped very fast and priced very good. www.batterymart.com> You will need to extend a couple wires and cables. Also modify or leave off the cover. I found a piece of old tube useful to slip in for a good fit. If you don't need the advantages of this battery or want to deal with the fitment I recommend the Yuasa MF. Walt -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "revmaaatin"
