Nertz! What did I miss now???? I always miss the fun stuff. Went to try the cyanide sniffer, a 4 gas tester, on the superglue/bicarb experiment......................one of the paraGods on C shift somehow managed to put it through the clothes dryer at the station.....................the little $8,000 sniffer no work so good now. TMVH, what is off-gassing during this reaction? There is a little wisp of a whitish vapor that is released at the time of the reaction of the methacrylate and the bicarb. It certainly is a pungent little vapor, even from a distance. I'll keep my mixing to brake fluid and calcium hypochlorite tabs. That emits a pretty whitish puff before it does what it does.
