master cylinder guard install question
Hi Eddie. I installed a Dual-Star master cylinder guard shortly after
purchasing my '06. I was nervous about how that master cylinder hung
out in the open. I simply bolted it on and didn't use a torque
wrench. As with all fasteners on the KLR a couple drops of blue
Loctite helps keep them where they need to be. I think in many
applications a torque wrench is a good idea, but this isn't one of them
in my opinion. Just use common sense and don't overtighten the
fasteners and you should be ok.
