~~~I bought an 08' KLR new in late November last year. To date, 1800 miles on the odometer. Not all freeway miles but she mostly gets ridden interstate. I am not experiencing oil consumption. First oil change was at 30 miles (Motoman break in) Second oil change at 600 miles. Still riding on this oil. Again, no oil useage. Maybe I'm not riding it hard enough?=:-) Jake Reddick Fla.
