I received the thermo bob adobe pdf file for the installation of said
device. Yes, I have Adobe acrobat.
Here is my problem:
Attempt #1. When 'saved', straight from the link/attachment, it is all
computer code.
Attempt #2. When I
'select all'
copy,
pasted to a word document,
it captures all the words but the pictures disappear.
Help me if you can, as this file is 4.3m and will kill the inbox of my
ISP for volume. Yeah, I know, 10meg ISP is pitiful, but I don't have
much choice here on the prairie.
Best I can tell: It looks like I have to have a separate subscription
to save and/or print an Adobe PDF file. Is that true?
revmaaatin.

Go into the settings/options in your web browser and set to download
.pdf files instead of displaying them. Then you just double click on
them and it will open up the Adobe viewer or other app if your using
something like Foxit Reader. Safer also.
Probably won't be reading the list till after Christmas but if
you have a question post it and I might see it.

Hold your ears! I GOT IT! finally. If you are going to save a .pdf file, you have to use the save function on the PDF tool bar, not the conventional file-save-etc feature in the internet tool bar. To open it, you have to back and open Adobe Acrobat, then go to 'Adobe's- file, open to see the document. Otherwise, it is all computer code. I received 'hits' from 6 different folks. Thanks for those that offered advice--I tried them all. West was the one to suggest using the .pdf tool bar. Elementary, I suppose. The prize of cuban coffee and a deli sandwich goes to West Hovland, payable in central SD. smile. great list, no? revmaaatin.> > device. Yes, I have Adobe acrobat. > > >
