Dalton Highway, the "Haul Road" roughly 800 miles of gravel round trip. Actually ends in Deadhorse for the public and then you rely on tour operators for the ride to the Beaufort Sea. Gravel on a good days, snow, ice, muck, etc. on a not so good days. Not so good days 85-90% of the time. Buy a copy of "The Milepost". You could put new shoes on in Fairbanks for the trip North. Looking at your trip in total you may or may not want to put an off-road tire on for the Haul Road but you will definitely want a street tire for the largest portion of your miles. How comfortable are you on packed gravel, the good day, and how comfortable are you in 6" of muck for 800 miles, the not so good days? If you come through SE Alaska on the Marine Highway let me know.
