I recently saw a photo here of a camouflaged KLR, does anyone know
where I can get a photo of this bike again. We just moved our business
into a new complex where there is a company who specialized in this
stuff (cars generally). The guy seemed quite neighborly and said bring
it in and he will see what he can do.
One more question, there seems to be a big emphasis on this Doohicky
sp.? thingy. How difficult is this surgical proceedure? Living here in
San Diego I believe the gentleman who fabricates these things is pretty
close, does anybody know if he is just a machinist or does he do the
modification too.
Thanks,
RTR

The correct answer is, what doesn't EagleMike do????? He will place his
holy hands upon your ailing KLR and behold, brothers and sisters, it walks,
it talks, it does all sorts of nifty things...................well, not
really. But, Mike is very capable of showing YOU how to make YOUR KLR a
better piece of machinery, as about 600+ of our JulianTechDay participants
will testify to. And he is not going to lecture you on "his way is the
only way" of setting up your bike, as some others would have.
Mike makes a bunch of parts for the KLR, Doohickey's, fork braces, raising
links, lowering links, bolt sets, all kinds of stuff. He can also clean up
and match grade the pistol of your choice and instruct you in championship
western swing dancing as well. Name another "guru" who can do all of
that................Wait, don't call Mike a Guru, because that he ain't.
Check out some of Mikes references: CaStu, Dr. Chris Krok, Mark Bakarich,
Chuck Cooper, George Basinet, Fred Hink (does he even own a KLR?????) and
the leftcoastklr website.
It would appear that I'm shilling for Mike........so what! Both of my KLRs
are better machines because of his products and advice.

thought I had taken more.
