The joy of the prevailing torque nut is it doesn't require a torque wrench. I have them on both my bike and wife's bike and when we hit the mountains or desert, a crescent wrench is all it takes to switch the front sprocket out to a smaller one. I takes me 30-45 minutes to do both bikes and we are back on the trail. So far we have 15,000 or so miles with the nut.
