I was beginning to wonder if I was still on the right group..No mention of that new concealed carry magnetic quick-draw eh? Luckily I'm getting the impression that the majority of the members of this group have enough common sense to know the difference. you need to throw that battery away and get a sealed battery. no leaks or levels to check.Ever. Ernie Campbell

I did however check the fluid level in all 6 cells and 3 were very low. I wouldn't think I would have had to fill them after just having the bike in for its 3000m service and oil chsnge. I wonder if the low fluid levels were the culprit. Would low levels cause the battery not to hold a charge ? Anyway it seems to start fine and I'll see what happens after parking it overnight.
