how to remove a rounded hex bolt.

This is down a tube and will be difficult to drill out - does anyone
make a special tool to remove these?

You get expansion with the heat and contraction with the cooling and if you have a bit of penetrating oil it can sometimes get sucked into the frozen area. I would add, just get a AGM type battery, once you fill it, you seal it and it will not pee. Many avail in stock size, FAQ has some listed also.
