break help needed!!

Today I put on a new chain and new sprockets. But now my rear break
is real tight. So tight it is hard to push. I have messed around
with the wheel and i am pretty sure it is on straight. I have bleeded
the break flud a little and it bleeds good. When i loosen up the two
bolts that hold he caliper on it will begin to loosen up, when the
loosen enough the wheel turns freely. The break seem to go on easy
enough. It seems like when i tighten down the bolts that hold on the
caplier that it tightens up the breaks at the same time.
Any thoughts?

It's the piston side pad. Be sure it didn't fall from it's nested
position. Remove the caliper, put the pad in it's nest. Sometimes
helps to hold it there with a screwdriver while installing on the
rotor. Move the caliper assembly on the slider pins to bolt the
caliper back up.

Greetings from the Northeast (Connecticut).
Well I made the move today and placed a deposit on a used 2006 KLR
w/2700 miles. It has some nice mods and good value to me vs. a new
machine.
I am sixty years old and have not ridden in 40 years. I would be
interested in meeting or conversing with any other KLR owners in the
N.E. that would allow me to bounce questions off of them or who would
like to take a back roads ride from time to time. I had to promise my
wife that I would stay off the interstates.
Wish me luck...I take the exam for a permit on next Tuesday or wednesday.
