I passed a red KLR that was heading westbound on the 22X East of the
Deerfoot on Saturday (April 1) at about 11:00 am. Anybody on this group?
Thanks,
Al T

Mike,
FWIW, I did Alaska (9500 kms) on my Bandit in '04. Only gravel was where road work was
being done; from Chicken to Dawson; and on BC37 (the Cassiar). I have Kenda K270s on
my KLR, and have just over 10,000 kms, mostly pavement, on the 5.10 x 17 rear, w/ about
3/8" still on the center tread-blocks. They handle well but HOWL LIKE HELL once the
center flattens out (but no problem w/ ear-plugs).
Again - FWIW - I just bought another so it's here when I have to replace (maybe another
2,000 or so?).
Enjoy your trip!
Ed
PS I plan to 'do' the Chilcotin Plateau and on up to Inuvik during summer 2007 on the KLR.
