Can't tell you what kind of tape to use, but the glass is sealed to the reflector with some reasonably tough adhesive, too... In the process of trying to replace a shattered lense on the cheap I tried to remove the glass and found that out. Looks like high temp RTV. From how it looks, I think that tape is more keep the glue from coming out during assembly than to actually seal anything once its set--which is to say, I wouldn't worry about it. I have a back burner plan to soak the whole think in HOT water to soften the RTV and get the glass shards out in case I do need to transplant a lense one day. -Luke --- Sonny Bulla wrote:
