progressive spring install update

Post by jussumgi » Fri Jan 06, 2006 12:09 am

Great stuff. I finally got a chance to ride tonight after work with my new progressive front springs from Dual-Star. Fork oil loaded with 15 weight. I don't have a lot of rough terrain where I'm at. But I did get to hit a few soft semi muddy pot hole alleys. And fast straight aways with some good curves. What a difference. The 15 weight might be a little stiff. I'll do some longer and more aggressive riding this weekend. And maybe move it down to 10 weight for a comparison after a while. But if your a 6 foot, 225 lb rider like me. Get these springs. I can't believe the difference in the handling. And they hardly dive at all when braking. I'm a believer. Plus, I set the damper to the number 3 setting. It's like a completely different bike.

San Felipe NKLR Randy: No question in my mind whether you camp-it or motel-it, go to Kiki's R.V. They have palapas to camp in, eleven brand-new motel rooms, spotless showers, and twenty-four hour security in an enclosed compound. There is Rubens' restaurant right next door, and the beach is the best (private) beach within the city limits Kiki is an avid off-road biker, and might even lead you to some of the finest "secrets" in the area if he has time. What dampner, the REAR SHOCK??? did you go from progressive springs to the rear shock and I missed it. Don't have a dampner number on my front shocks.
