handguards for klr250

I'm a KLR250 owner in search of hand guards similar to those that come stock
on the 650. I don't necessarily want the big wrap-around hand gaurds used
for lever protection, but rather hand-farings for wind/cold protection.
I've seen the Acerbis "flag" handgaurds at kawasaki's site, but they don't
show them to be compatible with the KLR. Does anyone have experience
fitting these type of hand gaurds to a 250? Would the guards made for the
650 work? (I have an '04 KLR250)
Thanks,
Justin
