Does anyone know if any special modifications or hardware are needed to fit
an FMF Q to an '05 KLR650? I tried the recommended tweaks for the stock
muffler, and I'm just not pleased with the results. Besides, I really like
the performance of the Q on my Gas Gas 450.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

No mods needed. FMF offers a Q pipe for the KLR that bolts right up,
Been running one on my KLR this last year.

It will pass the new 96 db test for public lands, about .5 db quieter
than a quiet Laserpro. Not near as quiet as stock but a long way from
obnoxious.

This has probably been covered before, but will a KLR 600 engine fit in a KLR 650 frame? Please reply off line at rrickettss@.... Thanks
