I was born and raised in Southern California, but wouldn't trade for
anything the rides I took on my new KLR (KLR #2) yesterday and today
through the cherry orchards and vineyards of my new home area -
Leelanau County, Michigan. Sure, it was 50 degrees F, but I was warm
and it was surprising that nobody else was out on bikes enjoying the
fall colors.
No slam on CA intended, will be in Santa Barbara in 10 days, and will
probably look for a bike to rent just to scratch the itch on Hwys 154,
126, 33 and all those other roads.
