looking for used part

I am looking for a used (read cheap) part for my KLR. I need the left
handlebar unit that includes the mirror mount, turn signal toggle, horn and
choke lever.
Does anyone have a spare just laying around that they would like to get rid
of?
Thanks,
Kathleen

Hi Joe,
Contact the folks at Happy Trails in Boise. They have had many tech
sessions for doohickey installs and can offer you lots of
assistance. Their new showroom is worth the visit anyhow and you
will be glad you stopped in to see all their other great products!
They are located at 4545 W. Chinden Blvd.
Good luck,
JR

Your going to make me tell????????????
A while back, I broke the plastic choke lever off. How... I put lowering
links on, lowered the front,
and the first time I turned the handlebars full lock, the lever hit the tank
and snapped off. Yes, with the choke "on".
List brain trust said...JB Weld. Tried that, but the way it cracked off
left very little surface and it broke off again.
At this point, I just want to replace the thing, and the easiest way looks
like replacing the whole unit.
That's my story and I am sticking to it.
