Had a great Ride this weekend, left Bozeman at 2:00p rode north for 60 miles to Maudlow (50 mile of dirt) an old RR town on 16 mile creek. Normally I stop and slay a trout or two but the water was high and brown. We then crossed the Bridger Mountains to Ringling MT, which was the winter layover for the world famous Ringling Barnum and Bailey Circus. Stopped and had a cold one at the Ringling Bar, owned by an older biker. That was another 35 miles of dirt, a nice mix of tight curves along a creek bottom and wide-open 5th gear 70 mph romping. I was riding with two buddies, one was on a Suzuki DR 650 and the other on his BMW, Neither were ever in front, in fact the DR was lagging. We then cruised back south behind the Bridgers to Bozeman. Great ride, a lot of dirt , no traffic, life is good! If you make it Montana I highly recommend the ride. Clint Bozeman MT
