Jim, i thought our recent exchange was inappropriate to the list. If
you want to take it public, be my guest,

Funny, all the pro responses I have received from listers about being
willing to speak up about a problem that speed demons don't want anyone to
interfere with.
Look, the physics facts are as I laid out. You have many laws just in riding
your bike. Momentum, traction, sliding with momentum Vs rolling with
momentum, how far will a 180 lbs rider fly when hit head on by a much larger
vehicle. I don't remember all the formulas because physics bore me, the fact
remains you are breaking the law, and you are endangering others without
asking them for permission.
If you want to speed, take it to the track. If you think your posted zones
are too slow, take it to the courts and see if you can get it changed.
I can tell you one thing though, and I'll bet a lot of listers feel the same
way, if a speeding motorcyclist creates a situation in which my child or my
wife become injured or killed, that motorcyclist had better pray he doesn't
leave the crash site alive.
Just because my politics don't agree with yours, doesn't mean they are
jackass politics. That statement "jackass politics" came straight out of
your mouth/fingers simply because I don't agree with you.
Sounds like you are the little boy that wants to run home with his ball
because some of the other boys didn't like his rules.
And, by the way. I won't be a coward and "Bcc" the message to the list. I'll
tell you straight to your face that I'm posting to the list.
I am an AMA member of 12 years and damn proud of it. I don't agree with
everything they pursue or support, but I do agree with most of their
political, ethical, and moral issues. Decent motorcyclists don't need riders
like you making them look bad before people get to know them. Just as much
your type complains about the image the older Harley riders gave
motorcycling, you excessive speeders are doing the same damn thing. Bringing
unwanted attention to our hobby and our support.

I could not agree more with the comment "inappropriate to the list".
It sure doesn't take much to get some of you boys acting, and thinking like ten year olds!!!
So, if I do an oil change, should I go by what the manual says, or by the sight glass.
And where is the sight glass? And where do I put the oil?? And should I use Mobil One or K-mart brand.
There, that should last for awhile.
Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.

Gosh, I would hate to admit that anything those idiots on that show
did would have an influence on my decision making process.
Nice stinky bait though...
