klr dead ignition system

Check to see that all your electrical connections between the battery, solenoid and starter are clean and tight. I will bet that you find a loose connection. Take your connections apart and use a wire brush to clean them. Then tighten them hand tight and you should have your electrics back again. When I hit the starter button... I heard a spark crack and saw a subdued flash that may have come from some where on the left side of the bike. There was no smoke. Once the spark happened the ignition lights and everything immediately went dead.

I bought some of those at the Long Beach Calif. International motorcycle show a few years ago. 'Cept I didn't get the kind with the earphones in them and now I really regret that. Mine are just noise cancllers. They do that REALLY well. And you still hear the noises you're supposed to hear like ambulances, etc. Main thing they cut way back is wind noise. Seema a little strange the first time you put them in, because they're shaped sort of like a snail... And they go waaaaay deep into your ear. But they're very comfortable because they are designed to fit YOUR EAR. -- Harry Myhre Stevenson Ranch, Southern California harry_myhre@... http://home.earthlink.net/~hmyhre/ 2003 Bajaj Chetak Scooter 2100 miles On 8/29/04 4:13 PM, "DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com" DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com> wrote:
