Jake's attacks were/are amusing. I voted to let him post whatever he

So, George Bush in November, eh?

(A losing proposition however the election turns out.)

Not so fast...

"A third of the American public believes U.S. forces have found weapons of
mass destruction in Iraq, according to a recent poll. Twenty-two percent
said Iraq actually used chemical or biological weapons."

"Only 17 percent correctly said that none of the [9/11] hijackers was
 Iraqi"

With a public that pays this kind of attention, anything is possible.

They didn't find any, but we know they used to be there. We know Iraq
had them because we sold them the equipment to make them, as did France
and Russia. Whether they stopped making them, and whether they actually
destroyed them all (or just shipped them to Syria or just buried them
out in the desert somewhere etc) nobody knows. The people who probably
did know are dead. There was a story in the NY Post about a "WMD" that
was actually an artillery shell that had no markings that it contained
Sarin precursors. The shell is designed to mix parts A and B in flight,
making the nerve agent AFTER it's fired, so it didn't work for the
booby-trap it was rigged to. But that didn't stop the Post from running
it in 72pt type above the fold on the front page- "WMD found in Iraq".

They did. Wasn't in the last two gulf wars, but they used WMD's in the
war with Iran. Google "halabja" and see what comes up.

Yes, the "link" between Al Qaeda and the Hussein's (which never existed)
is something that I amazed the administration still getting away with.

Saddam Hussein had chemical and biological weapons. He used them in the
past. He also lied extensively, including continuing to seek long-range
missile technology. Funniest thing that happened was the North Koreans
took a multi-million dollar deposit on a medium range ballistic missile
system, them simply never delivered anything. Stiffed Iraq completely.

In the first police action in 1991, we actually got them used on us.

http://www.cnn.com/US/9610/01/gulf.war/ Unfortunately, it was our own
people who blew up the dump at Khamisiyah, without first looking at
what was in there. Believe me, I was only 4k from the explosion took
place. I thought we were fighting again. And yes, I WAS downwind and
have the official gov't notice that I may have been exposed.

I remember the first few days, when the bombing
started in Iraq, there was a lot of talk on the news
about a convoy of trucks leaving Iraq, going to Syria.
The news even showed with the night vision cameras
the trucks in a convoy leaving.
I have my thoughts as to what was in those
trucks, some of the hype was that cash was in them. I
think it was related to wmd, and that they will soon
be sending it to America, in a way we won't like.
Just my thoughts and I hope and Pray that I am wrong.
