I've also come up with a bracket that mounts a small, waterproof box to the charcoal canister bracket (not on all bikes), and Toby managed to mount a small Pelican box there. C -- Dr. J. Hello, I am currently trying to find a small "bag" to hold cell phone, wallet, keys etc. I am looking for one that will work with the KLR behind the window. I am not sure about the handle bar tool bags since I don't really want anything getting in the way. Can anybody give me any suggestions on where to go to find a small storage bag to attach to my KLR? I would prefer a cordura style bag instead of the leather. Thanks Bryan

This one is just the ticket: http://www.wolfmanluggage.com/03DualSport/AlfaGloveBox.html On my recent trip, it held my 35mm all-weather, point & shoot camera, 5-in-1 screwdriver, ear plugs, pen, eye drops and candy bars. Mark

My bike came with the Kawasaki tank bag. It's not the most waterproof thing in the world, but it's close enough so far. I like it a lot because it's fitted to the tank and you can get the gas cap without moving it at all. Plenty big enough to empty out all the crap from my pockets and it stays dry while I'm moving so it's close enough. It won't stay dry while parked in the rain though, but that's what my hard cases are for.

Wow, why didn't I think of that? Some obvious, unused space up there. :-) Howard Morris on 07/13/2004 12:00:29 AM To: Tengai Mark Van Horn , bryandurling cc: DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [DSN_klr650] storage Tengai Mark Van Horn wrote: At 9:32 AM +0000 7/12/04, bryandurling wrote:

I know it is legal in Kentucky to ride 2 abreast, not sure about other states. I like having the whole lane to myself. I do get side by side at lights, or maybe to ask a question. Joe A18 SE Ky --- brucwms@... wrote:
