The photos section of the list isn't working for me just wondering
if this is the case for everyone else. i have some photos of my
sleeve and piston that i thought you might find interesting to take
a look at but i can't seem to be able to post them. i also have
some photos of what used to be my doohicky and spring. some
technical help would be nice from the ever knowledgable list

The new DR pegs are 4" overall. They set inside the mounting bracket where the pin goes through, and that area is 7/8" on the outside. I'd have to see a KLR bracket to tell for sure if the design is even compatible. If by wider you mean sticking out from the side of the bike, sounds like that is about the same.> At any rate, it doesn't sound like the width is the same, so the > newer pegs might not fit in the KLR's bracket. List,
The photos section is once again available.
Prior to uploading photos, please reduce the resolution or file size
as our group only has 30 megs to work with and this gets eaten up in
a hurry with full resolution pictures. We are currently at the 54%
mark so there is some growing room.
Going forward, since this is basically "your" list, I would like to
get some feedback as to how the group would like to handle the photo
section when it maxes out again. Do I delete trip photos, keeping
the more technical related photos and files? Do I keep the more
recent photos and delete the earlier? Or do I use my own judgement
and do what ever seems to work the best? If you don't care, just
don't reply.
Thanks
Scott

Scott,
Everyone needs to be aware that when a photo is uploaded to our
site, a full screen version (large file size) is automatically
created and must be deleted by the uploader. The uploader needs to
view the full size version and "delete" it. These full screen
versions are like 1.5 MB and only viewable by the postee.
