nklr - all big dual-sports to big dog ride #15

I called them and liked the "Coke-Cola" route they
offered. "A" route is for the crazies, "B" for the
"safety first" guys. Both would do Mosquito Pass.
However, they've a suggested "Coke-Cola" route which
is designed for the 'round the world traveler to
simulate roads/riding a 'round the world rider could
expect when crossing "Russia or going from Peru to
Argentina." It's for the guys with fully loaded bikes
(bags, windshields, camping gear, GPS's, etc. to test
their equipment. Road tires can easily make it,
they'd go around Mosquito, and do passes like Weston.
The note I got re: my invitation said the "Coke-Cola"
route got its name because Coke-Cola can be found
anywhere on any route around the world. And you can
change from one route to another at anytime. I think
I'll start with B or Cola. Forget the "A" stuff. I
looked at their website
www.horizonsunlimited.com/bigdog/ and some of these
guys are crazy! Imogene with a 500 pound bike? I know
it can be done...but that bike is better off rolling
around on the pavement. But then I don't own one, too
big. I'll stick with the DR.
