Has anyone tried the Dunlop D604 ? I have always been partial to
Dunlops (don't know why) but I won't buy them if they are not good or
don't last.

I have 604's on both ends of my A-17, and I really like them on the street, not so great off road, but I do most of my riding on the street and highway. They wear like iron, and grip like glue. I can run with the sportbikes with these babies. I really don't do much riding off road, some gravel and fire roads, with some minor trail riding but nothing too muddy or sandy. I rode from the Oregon Coast to Montana last summer on the stock tires, wore out the rear and made the center of the front fairly flat on that trip. Decided to put some more highway friendly treads on it for the trip home and couldn't have been happier. If you do much off road I'd recommend something else, but for the streets and highways, with some occasional off road use, the D-604's are pretty good.
