Hi everybody...
I currently use front road tire I think maybe 80% road oriented.
My rear tire is MT21.
I just started driving offroad and every turn I take it's luck which
keep me on wheels and sometimes i'm not that lucky.
i was thinking maybe it's because the combination of the tires,
or maybe my rear shock absorber is not adjusted currectly.
before I'm running to the store and buying mt21 for my front wheel
and saying goodbye to 120$, maybe you can help me by telling if the
tire combination is so wrong or should I just need to study how to
drive offroad ? I have KLR650C and this is my first bike with "dirt"
capabilities...
thanks in advance, and sorry for my bad english.

Check your fork play. I'm running $80/set kenda k270's
which are amazing.
Keep pressure at max while on the road (40/32 kenda's).
The more I ride the 270's the more I like.

Agreed, little wiggly in corners on pavement, off road I lowered the
air some more to about 25 f/r much better than max pressure, then
lowered the rear a bit more maybe 20~22 PSI and traction really picked
up, corners in the dirt admitted were different at first but then once
the feeling came to me, I could really hammer the corners, wife and I
were riding she happened to be behind me on her 4 wheeler and I was
asked to NOT ride like that again when she could see me at least.
Sofar I love these Kenda 270's, seem like a real happy tire both on
and off road, I would say maybe 60/40 not 50/50 like they say.
These coupled with 14/45 sprockets have transformed off road fun.
Now just get that carb slide drilled out and see what that does.

That's EXACTLY what I did. I don't want a kick-only bike for my wife,
she thought the XT225 was ugly, and I just don't want to deal with drum
brakes anymore.
Bought a super sherpa on Ebay.

I never got as far as trying them in the dirt, I heard they were good.
Couldn't stand them on the street, when pushing it hard into corners.
~scary~
I guess I'll have to see how bad the GP110s are on the dirt, they are
great in the twisties.
