which oil filter?

Sorry if this has been done before, but I searched the archives and
read the FAQ. I cant find any of the part numbers that are listed
in the FAQ.
I went to my NAPA Dealer to get an oil filter, he had 2 listings for
the KLR 650. Early and late model. My bike is brand new, and he
gave me a Napa #4950 Filter. Well, the filter fits but the o-rings
were not even close.
Could Some of you just do a quick post on which oil filter you use,
including the part number, for a 2004 KLR 650? Have the sizes of
the o-rings been changed at some point?
Thanks for your efforts with a newbie.

*All* KLRs use the same oil filter. I been able to find, and I've used,
all the filters listed in the FAQ (Fram #CH6070; EMGO #10-30000; K&N
#KN-123; Wix # 24951; NAPA #4951). Usually Wally Wurl has Frams in
stock, and I've been able to get the Wix and Napa filters through auto
parts stores. You shouldn't worry about the o-ring, it's not like they
wear out, and no, they've not changed.

It's available here as a PDF:

There is a link to the website on my Links page, but I'll be darned if I get
anything much more than spam when I click it. Weird...
