Roads of Louisiana is very good Delorme type atlas.The MS delorme is not as good but it helps.I don't have my GPS hard wired yet so I only turn it on when I'm really lost(ha ha) or looking for gas or some one didn't bring food. We do the same type of riding in Northeast LA and SW MS.Your are right about peoples reaction to the bikes, especially the kids.Thinking of going to meet up in Glouster MS April 16-18.
