Has anyone used this item on their KLR? I'd like to know if it will
thread properly:
IMS Dual Sport Mirror Pivot
Allows rider to move mirror down and out of the way for transporting
or offroad riding
Unique pivot mirror mount can be adjusted for tension
Threaded mirror pivot fits OEM type mirrors that thread into lever

I've never used them but that's a heck of an idea. I used to just
pick up the remaining pieces when I make it back around to where I
broke the originals off and JB them back together. Then I remembered
to take them off next time. Gotta check them out, looks like a
worthwhile buy.

Ken Sean (or is it Sean Ken?) makes a mirror complete with a pivot for
allowing the mirror to fold out of the way. It goes for under $15 at most shops.
I've been using them for nine years without a problem.
