Ok - still learning - so it is a 6.6g tank. Big enough - OK how about the crash bars. Look pretty good and the weight they add is low on the chassis. Thoughts? If you want to really live and learn let a picture do the talking. Both the 6.6 (yes 6.6 not 7) gallon and the smaller tank are pictured on two different bikes at this link. http://www.peace65.freeserve.co.uk/Pictures/kawasaki.htm Walt A14 "War Horse"

Basically the tank is the same construction that's been used and proven on dirt bikes since the first Preston Petty gas tank came out in the late 60's. Its proven to resist abrasion of all kinds, including sliding 100' down the pavement after bouncing off the grill of a Ford Explorer.
