rear brake fixed ?

I've been doing a lot of work to my bike the past few weeks. This week I'm upgrading the exhaust system to a Big Gun race series. I know they're loud. The question is, has anybody in California been pulled over or ticketed because of this? Yo Zach. Did you fix your rear brake ? Was everything clean ? Thought of you when perusing latest MCN. In the tech questions section some guy had a problem kinda like yours, nothing available with his brake between zero and locking up. The columnist advised a steel braided line. Bogdan
