any recomendations on chain tension? how do you guys figure out the right tension? thanks a lot!

I do this: When the bike is on the sidestand, with my toes I push the chain up at the front of the swingarm, if it alomost touches I figure thats enough. Read on the chain guard last night 2" of freeplay on the bottom center of the length when bike is unloaded and on the sidestand. I think most will agree, loose is good, tight is bad Mmmmmmkay Dooden A15 Green Ape Thinking my bike will be mad at me, it spent the night in a strange garage, left it there to drive on of the other vehicles home last night.
