How does the Kawasaki-supplied tail bag accessory mount on the back
of the
KLR 650? I just picked one up and it appears as though there are no
male connectors...only female.
Any ideas would be appreciated before I send it back.
Thanks,
Gent

Send it back anyway, it's crap. Go with Wolfman if you want soft bags.

Speaking of which, I can get a pair of nearly new TourMaster soft
panniers from a friend for nearly nothing. He used them on his
Bandit 1200 which is long gone. Has anyone tried these and are they
a good choice for the KLR? Do I need side frames to protect them
from the exhaust or anything else?
Thanks, Paul
