Try a twin size bedwetter rubber undersheet from Wally-WUrl. It's elasticized, so you don't need to mess with bungees. Z DC A5X A12X

corbin seats / cut stock seat

Post by radklr650 » Thu Jun 05, 2003 11:34 pm

Just received my Corbin Dish seat for my klr650 and it rules. Not as squishy as the stock seat but you don't get that burning feeling. It's much more firm and postioning seems to be built into the seat. It's like they knew where I sat and they cupped it just right. It sure does help get my feet on the ground. 30" inseam is a bitch but the new seat helped a bunch. By the way if you attempt to cut down your stock seat cut about 1/2" to 3/4" off the top, leaving it intact. then cut out what you want to reduce down and then glue the top back on. 3M makes a good glue. Available at W-Mart. This will give you a nice smooth factory top. Polyester fiber fill works well to fill in any gaps. An electric staple gun helps to get it all back together.
