Dear all,
I just got my big IMS-6.6 Gallon gas tank !
It really is big !
First mounting tests showed that my handlebar collide with the upper
side (near gas cap) of the gas tank.
Is this a known problem for this tank, or am I doing something wrong
here...?
cheers
Gijs.

Gijs,
You might try a set of handlebar risers. ZenMotorcycles carries a
machined set made by Eagle Mfr.

These will give you an extra .7 inch clearance. That and a little
rotating of the bars should get you the needed room under the bars.

Something must be wrong. I have the big tank with CR-HI bars and have a good
.75" of clearance between the bars and the tank
