I agree. Give him a week, or so to cool off, then reinstate him. I read this list because it's informative and entertaining; egos, and offenses, and insights and commaraderie, and a certain chaos, a--holes, and heroes, and regular folk, and irregular folks. It's like it was some kind of community. You can learn alot here, about the bike, new riding areas, about others, and about yourself. I also learned to skip some threads... Mark A9, A1 Ratbike

Jim has been given more chances on this list than Saddam has obeying resolutions. He forced at least two moderators into retirement. On the upside, he sure does know a lot about a lot of things. In my mind it makes him a great researcher and a great B.S artist. But ultimately I think he tries to bring the list down to his level of sanity, which can make the moderator's job very difficult. I think Jim would do much better on the Dr. Phil or a Christian prayer group fourm. Hey are you talking about me ?? "a--holes" as you put it. Geeeesh.. ;-) I have no problems with Jim either way, ya have to admit, at least he wears his true self on his sleeve, and does not try to hide it behind anything. I would rather deal with somebody that at least you know where they are coming from, than somebody who attempts to wear a mask. What about the people who just keep pouring fuel on the sparks that he makes, surely they are in the same boat, perhaps them rowing the same boat the other way, should also receive the same treatment. Since I read via the web, I dont need a filter nor a delete button, I simply hit the "next message" link. Ride on.. Dooden --- In DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com, "mark " wrote:

I agree. I'm sorry, but when he's on the list, the thing gets off topic SOOOO much, it's absolutely ridiculous. The man posts every day about something religious, patriotic, and I'm sorry, I've had enough of it. I read this group for information about KLR650 Motorcycles. Heck, I think that might even be the name of the group. The fact is, there are plenty of place Jim can go rant about whatever he wants, threaten people, email them off list (I've gotten several from him, not threatening, but offensive enough). I vote to keep him off, I'm sick of my digests being filled with his crap. If somehow we could let him on and guarentee that he'd only post KLR stuff (hah, not in a million years) then I'd be for letting him back on. Tim
