Kris: 250 folks are certainly welcome. You do need to know that there isn't a ton of info on 250s, though. Thanks.

It is very nice to meet yawl. Is anyone ridding in the DFW area (TX)? My friend and I have KLR250's and another friend is picking up his KLR650 this weekend. We kind of bought the bikes on a whim and we are looking forward to tearing up the Dallas/FT Worth area. We also have plans to drive down to the coast soon. Looking at: http://www.peace65.freeserve.co.uk/Pictures/future.htm the miltary KLR seems to have a different front brake, a much larger caliper. I wonder where that came from, more important, where can I get one? The article also says they have bullet proof tires. How does that work?
