I have put about 9000Km's on Metzeler Tourance, front and rear. They are great for the street. What I have found: - great grip in the rain - much less vibration than aggressive knobbies - great wear. They're still not showing any wear. - good grip in sand, rocks, dirt and grass. Slippery in mud. - quite good on dry pavement. They are loads of fun on secondary roads, or dirt tracks where I can cut them loose with a squeeze of the clutch and a twist of the wrist.On rocks they're very grippy. I'll probably repeat the purchase, when I wear these out.

I have two Tourance on my klr, with excellent results on all surfaces: asphalt, gravel, sand, dirt, rocks, water, ...except for mud, where it slides around. But I guess, that's fun too, as long as I just want to slide around, and not, actually, get somewhere. My Tourance have tubes in them, of course.
